NEET UG Re-Exam 2026 is scheduled for 21 June 2026 following the cancellation of the original examination that was to be held on 03 May 2026. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Re-Exam City Intimation Details on 07 June 2026, and the Admit Card is expected to be available by 14 June 2026. Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

The minimum age is 17 years — candidates must be born on or before 31 December 2009 to be eligible for NEET UG 2026. No maximum age limit is prescribed; candidates should consult the official NTA notification for any age-related conditions.

Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed the Class 10+2 (Intermediate) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as core subjects from a recognised Board in India.
  • Additionally, candidates must have secured the minimum prescribed percentage in PCB subjects — refer the official NTA Information Bulletin at neet.nta.nic.in for category-wise percentage requirements.
  • Furthermore, candidates who appeared in the original NEET UG 2026 examination on 03 May 2026 (before cancellation) and whose results were affected are eligible to appear in the NEET UG Re-Exam 2026 on 21 June 2026.

Entrance Exam

All eligible candidates must appear in the NEET UG Re-Exam 2026 conducted by NTA in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on 21 June 2026; additionally, re-exam candidates may receive 15 minutes of extra time as per official instructions — admission to all medical courses is based entirely on NEET UG scores and merit.

Selection Process

  1. Appear in the NEET UG Re-Exam 2026 on 21 June 2026 — carry the printed Admit Card and a valid photo ID mandatorily to the examination centre.
  2. Await the NEET UG 2026 Result Declaration on the official NTA portal at neet.nta.nic.in.
  3. Check the All India Rank (AIR) and Category Rank declared alongside the result and verify qualifying status against the minimum cut-off percentile.
  4. Participate in the NEET UG Counselling conducted by MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) for central quota seats and respective State Counselling Authorities for state quota seats.
  5. Complete Document Verification at the designated counselling centre with all original certificates and category documents.
  6. Pay the institutional fee and complete enrolment at the allotted medical/dental/AYUSH college to secure the seat.

  2. Find and click the “Re-Exam City Details / Admit Card 2026” link on the homepage.
  3. Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth / Password in the login fields.
  4. Click Login / Submit and view your exam city intimation slip or admit card on screen.
  5. Verify the exam city, date, and shift details carefully as displayed on the portal.
  6. Download the Exam City Intimation Slip and subsequently the Admit Card (expected by 14 June 2026) in PDF format.
  7. Take a clear printout of the Admit Card and keep it safe for the examination day along with a valid photo ID document.
