About the Programme
Established by Parliament under the Central Universities Act, 2009, the Central University of Odisha aims to increase access to quality higher education in educationally underserved districts. The current research project investigates sustainable agricultural innovations and tribal livelihoods across the KBK (Kalahandi-Bolangir-Koraput) districts of Odisha.
The recruitment aims to onboard qualified research personnel to assist with data collection, field surveys, and analytical tasks over the project duration.

Eligibility Criteria
Research Assistant
- Academic Qualification: Ph.D., M.Phil., NET, or Postgraduate degree in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Skills: Proficiency and skill in using Data Science, GIS, SPSS, or R.
Field Investigator
- Academic Qualification: Graduate in a Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks (Preference given to candidates with a 4-year graduation program).
- Language & Field Skills: Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and translation in both English and Odia languages, alongside willingness to travel extensively for fieldwork in rural and interior areas.

Job Profile & Responsibilities
