Eligibility Criteria for IISER Berhampur Faculty Jobs
Professor
- Ph.D. with first-class or equivalent in the previous degree and an excellent academic record.
- At least 10 years of post-Ph.D. research and teaching experience, including 4 years in the position of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai, or IISERs.
Associate Professor
- Ph.D. with first-class or equivalent in the previous degree and an excellent academic record.
- A minimum of 6 years of teaching/research experience, with at least 3 years as Assistant Professor/Senior Scientific Officer/Senior Design Engineer.
Assistant Professor Grade I
- Ph.D. with first-class or equivalent at the earlier degree and an excellent academic record.
- A minimum of 3 years of industrial/research/teaching experience, excluding experience from the Ph.D. period.

Salary Scale
- Professor: Pay Level 14A with basic pay of ₹1,59,100/-
- Associate Professor: Pay Level 13A2 with basic pay of ₹1,39,600/-
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Pay Level 12 with basic pay of ₹1,01,500/-
Candidates with a Ph.D. in the concerned discipline and having regular service of 3 years in Level 12 shall be eligible for shifting to Level 13A1 with the initial pay of ₹1,31,400/- subject to assessment of performance and antecedents.
