Eligibility Criteria for Professor Recruitment

1. Educational Requirements
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline is mandatory.
- First Class in all preceding degrees (Bachelor’s level onward).
- If “First Class” is not explicitly mentioned, candidates must have:
- Minimum 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale, or
- At least 60% aggregate marks.
2. Special Conditions
- CGPA conversions provided by individual institutions will not be accepted.
- If a different grading scale is used, candidates must submit a certificate from the authorized institutional signatory confirming First Class equivalence.
- Candidates with degrees obtained abroad must have qualifications from:
- National Universities/Institutes of the respective country, or
3. Direct Ph.D. Candidates
Applicants who completed a Ph.D. directly after B.Tech/B.E. are eligible provided they meet all First Class conditions at the Bachelor’s level.
