Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
1. Assistant Professor (Grade I)
- Qualification: Ph.D. in concerned discipline.
- Experience:
- Three years post-Ph.D. experience, OR
- Six years aggregate teaching/research/industry experience.
2. Associate Professor
- Qualification: Ph.D.
- Experience:
- Six years of experience after Ph.D. (at least three years as Assistant Professor AGP Rs. 8000), OR
- Nine years of total experience (at least three years after Ph.D.) with at least three years at the Assistant Professor level with AGP Rs. 8000.
3. Professor
- Qualification: Ph.D.
- Experience:
- Ten years of experience after Ph.D. (or thirteen years total), AND
- At least three years as Associate Professor in AGP Rs. 9500, or four years in AGP Rs. 9000, or equivalent combination in reputed institutions/R&D labs/industry.
Pay Scales & Benefits (As per 7th CPC)
- Assistant Professor: Pay Band-3, Grade Pay Rs. 8000, Level 12 (min. pay Rs. 30,000).
- Associate Professor: Pay Band-4, Grade Pay Rs. 9500, Level 13A2 (min. pay Rs. 42,800).
- Professor: Pay Band-4, Grade Pay Rs. 10,500, Level 14A (minimum pay Rs. 48,000).
