CTET September 2026 Correction Form is now active on the official portal, allowing registered candidates to edit and rectify their application details for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test scheduled on 06 September 2026. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the correction window from 15 June 2026 to 18 June 2026. Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

No minimum or maximum age limit has been prescribed for CTET September 2026. Candidates of any age who meet the academic qualification requirements are eligible as per CBSE rules.

Qualification

Level-1 — Paper-I (Primary Stage: Class 1–5):

  • Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (Class 12 / 10+2) with the minimum prescribed marks.
  • Additionally, candidates must hold a D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education), JBT (Junior Basic Training), B.El.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education), or D.Ed (Diploma in Education) from a recognised institution.

Level-2 — Paper-II (Upper Primary Stage: Class 6–8):

  • Candidates must hold a Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised university.
  • Furthermore, candidates must possess a B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) or B.El.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education) qualification from a recognised institution.

Entrance Exam

Candidates must appear in the CTET September 2026 written examination on 06 September 2026; eligibility for teaching appointments is determined solely on qualifying marks in the respective paper.
